1. Missoni x Converse High Tops

How to Wear Them: I absolutely adore the Missoni x Converse collab. These sneakers can really be paired in a number of different ways. For a more refined look you can go with a slim black skinny jean, extra long white button-up, and the cream-coloured leather coat shown above. Top the look off with a cute wide brim hat and a simple black clutch.

2. New Balances

How to Wear Them: New Balances are the perfect day-off sneaker. Simply pair them with a good boyfriend jean, a white tee, and a cozy cardigan. Pull the look together with a structured satchel and accessorize with your favourite silver jewellery.

3. Loeffler Randall Slip-ons

How to Wear Them: This sneaker has a bit of an elevated edge so you can try wearing them to work if you’re in a creative setting. Sport these with a pair of silk trousers, a crisp white blouse and an extra long overcoat. Top the look off with slouchy bucket bag.

Hey Everyone!

With our clocks set ahead one hour this Sunday I thought I should start posting a few of my favourite Spring trends. I know today is exceptionally warm out, but trust me fellow Torontonians, it is just a tease. Sadly, tomorrow is supposed to snow a crap load and go back down to -17, so brace yourselves. Anyway, This outfit speaks to my personal style in volumes. It’s all about being trendy yet relaxed and comfortable. I’m all about the sneaker game and die for these woven Nike high tops. Similarly, I’m obsessed with the oversized sweater coat look; it goes with everything, especially in this warm camel colour, and will keep you warm with the weather transitioning. Boyfriend jeans are another staple this spring and in a light wash you can’t go wrong. Pair these with sneakers or dress ’em up with your favourite heels. Lastly, Ice cream colours are also a favourite trend and I’m loving cotton candy pinks and buttercup yellows. Spring is definitely a time to experiment with nail colours.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m looking forward to lighter layers and warmer weather! Stay tuned for more Spring Fashion reports!

Hey Everyone!

For all of you getting ready for a date this Valentine’s Day or just need a little outfit inspiration here’s a selection of my favourite pieces this February. I absolutely love the new Aritzia midi length dress, especially in this bold red color. Paired with a simple leather jacket, cutout wedges and a calf hair clutch and you’re good to go.  One of my fave beauty products is Deborah Lippmann nail polish; I think candy pink is perfect for February. I also cannot get enough of my Chloé Roses fragrance…who needs an actual bouquet of roses anyway? Don’t forget to indulge in some pretty lingerie…it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without it. Same goes for cute accessories like this Oh La La coin purse from Kate Spade and the Lips iPhone Case by DVF.

Hope you all have a wonderful Febraury 14th!

Fall Shoe Wish List

Happy Wednesday.
Since I’ve been on reading week the past couple days, I have had more than a little time to daydream and browse online for some fall shoes. I put together a list of my all time favourites that I have been drooling over for the last month now and need to buy soon or else I may go a little crazy!  Enjoy!

Currently Craving: Colour Me Black?

Hey Everyone!

After a busy week of being sick with a sinus infection and feeling awful, this will be the best I can give you on the blog! Perhaps it was the fact that my only day off was rainy and filled with long hours spent at the library, but I just can’t stay away from the colour black (can I even call black a colour? shade?). Black, black, black. I know it’s supposed to be summer and we should bring out the colours, but it’s just so easy to wear…. and it reflects the weather, and….it looks so good. I know many people have the same problem of having little colour in their wardrobe, but if the shoe fits…. why not wear it!? Right? So here we go… This week’s Currently Craving:

Currently Craving

Wilfred DressZara Sandals / Karen Walker Sunglasses / Marc by Marc Jacobs Phone Case / Rebecca Minkoff Pouch  / Aritzia Jacket / Rebecca Minkoff Shorts

I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but my favourite designers right now are Rebecca Minkoff and Marc by Marc Jacobs (it’s not that obvious right?). I know it’s pretty mainstream of me, but I’m not against going with the grain (haha, get it?). Anyway, I have a current obsession with black leather…similar to my obsession in the winter, but the pieces I’m currently craving are seasonally acceptable (summer-ized!).
The strappy Zara closed-toe sandals are perfect when matched with a black leather pouch (like the Rebecca Minkoff pouch shown) and complement a pair of light-wash jeans divinely.
As always, Marc Jacobs has come up with the cutest Zebra Iphone cover and I’m all for the phone case critters (hello cats).
If you know me at all, then you have seen my leather shorts and you know that I think this is a wardrobe essential! They’re like a cooler version of plain black shorts. Try this pair by Rebecca Minkoff and I promise you’ll never go back to boring old cotton (or worse, Polyester) shorts again!
Throw in a good pair of retro Karen Walker sunnies and you make any outfit cute, be it a plain white tee and how about a twirly PARTYSKIRT anyone?
My last two cravings are from the infamous Aritzia (how original, right?). I’m in love with the Talula Jean Jacket with leather sleeves, because if you havn’t noticed yet… I. just. can’t. get. enough. of. leather (it’s an addiction). If you don’t mind a lot of black in your outfit, pair this cute jacket with the Wilfred Colour-block Tank Dress. I’m all about comfort, so this T shirt style dress is perfect and… it’s not completely black!  Hello grey!!!
Well, that’s it for now. I’ve got two more posts in the works so stay tuned!
